Legislative Priorities

This year, I had a full legislative agenda to help everyone along the Richmond Highway corridor. My priorities bills were to help re-open Woodlawn Road, keep INOVA Mount Vernon in our community, and bring back our fair share of education dollars for our schools. I was very happy to pass several bills that are very important to the 44th District.

This year in the General Assembly, I worked across party lines to pass legislation:

• Re-opening Woodlawn Road -- PASSED!
• Helping to keep INOVA Mt. Vernon in our community -- PASSED!
• Renovating and constructing public schools
• Bringing back our fair share to Fairfax County
• Making schools more efficient and saving tax dollars
• Streamlining government -- PASSED!
• Protecting children from violent video games
• Helping elementary school students raise money on Election Day
